• Actively promote conservation of open green space and valued vegetation.
• To bind the proposed residential into the existing recreational landscape and encourage interaction through physical connections and links.
• Establish a ‘golf course’ landscape that extends and impacts over the entire site, fusing the leisure, residential and public spheres into one coherent landscape character.

Sustainable | Environmentally Sustainable Design principles will be applied in the landscape where feasible and some potential strategies include:

Safe | Privacy, safety and security are addressed by encouraging active frontages and facilitating surveillance of vibrant outdoor spaces, both day and night. Viewing from buildings into public open space and streetscape will be encouraged.

Accessible | Equitable access is paramount to the design to ensure that buildings and outdoor areas are accessible for all users. Amenities will be provided that meet the needs of pedestrians and encourage people to walk.
