Ashgrove Golf Club is responsible for the acquisition of the Department of Defence land and for the design of the realigned golf course. The acquisition of the Department of Defence land will off set the excision of 2 parcels of golf club land along Waterworks Road.
The Golf Course will remain an 18 hole course.
The overall development proposal, including the Department of Defence land and the adjoining residential properties, results in a net land gain for the golf club of 11.3%.
The total percentage that the proposal land will take from the golf club fairways (excluding Department of Defence land) is 2.3%. The land to be excised from the golf club includes:

approx. 1,353 sqm of the current golf club car park; and

approx. 6,637 sqm of the golf course fairways.
